Predicting Electrical Consumption of Seven Countries Using Neural Network and Linear Regression

Abstract

This project proposes the forecast of electrical consumption from seven countries around the world. The data are open accessed from The International Energy Agency (https://www.iea.org/). Overall, there are 791 data consisting seven countries from January 2014 to May 2023. This project presents a proposal to utilize a neural network as the primary model for predicting electrical consumption, conducted, with a secondary model of linear regression employed for the purpose of comparison.
