Abstract

The method for collecting data on road surface damage along with technological developments is by using UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) which come in various shapes and sizes and can fly carrying camera sensors for aerial photography. The UAV results are 2D (two-dimensional) and 3D (three-dimensional) spatial data which have geographic references and high spatial resolution, or what is called a photogrammetry technique. In this research, an exploration of the capabilities of aerial photographs taken using a UAV was carried out to analyze the level of damage to the Telorejo highway, Dau District, Malang Regency.The results of the analysis of the visual interpretation method on orthophoto images obtained from photography using a UAV for classifying the types of road damage are block crack damage, crocodile skin crack damage, subsidence and an average PCI value of 73 with the road condition value category being very good ( very good)
