History of Prokons: Jurnal Teknik Sipil

The development of Prokons: Jurnal Teknik Sipil toward nationally recognized quality began with its accreditation process conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020. The final result of the accreditation evaluation affirmed the journal’s compliance with the national standards for scientific publications. The Accreditation Decree (SK Akreditasi) was officially issued on April 1, 2020, under Decree Number 85/M/KPT/2020, which established Prokons: Jurnal Teknik Sipil as a SINTA 5-accredited journal for the period of 2018–2022. In its continuous effort to improve publication quality, Prokons has implemented several editorial and managerial enhancements. One of the most notable changes was introduced starting from Volume 19, when the journal adopted a new article template to replace the previous format used up to Volume 18. This new template was designed to enhance readability, maintain consistency, and align the publication style with international academic standards. At present, Prokons: Jurnal Teknik Sipil continues to publish high-quality research articles that reflect innovation, scientific rigor, and relevance to current civil engineering issues. The journal remains committed to upholding high standards of publication ethics and contributing to the advancement of civil engineering education and practice in Indonesia and worldwide.
