Abstract

The use of concrete waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate in concrete mixtures is a trial of the use of construction waste, namely concrete waste which is used as a mixture for making concrete as a substitute for split stone. The variable use of this concrete waste is 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. This research test was carried out on the 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th day of the age of the concrete samples and tested using a concrete compressive strength tool. This research aims to find safe value, utilization and innovation regarding the use of construction waste so that it can be reused. This research refers to K-300 Concrete as a reference composition and benchmark value for test results. This research resulted that all variables could meet the K-300 requirements at a sample age of 28 days of testing. However, in the 7 and 14 day tests, the 100%, 75% and 50% waste concrete mixture variables did not meet the requirements because the compressive test value did not meet the requirements, namely 65% strength. In this way, the 25% substitution of concrete waste is considered to meet the requirements because on the 7th day the test got a value of 16.9 MPa, on the 14th day it got a value of 19.91 MPa, on the 21st and 28th day it got a value of 22.33 MPa and 25. .99 MPa. Samples of 25% concrete waste from four tests produced values that met the requirements of the K-300 Concrete specifications and were considered suitable for use based on the results of this research
