Peer Review Process

1. Before submitting an article, the author must read Author Guidelines first.
2. The following is a flow diagram of the Peer Review Process with explanations.

  • The first time an article is submitted, a review will be carried out by the Editor including the appearance of the article according to the requirements, templates and guidelines. The editor communicates intensively with the author.
  • Furthermore, if accepted, the article will be reviewed by two Reviewers to obtain recommendations. The results of the Reviewer's recommendations are taken into consideration by the Editor and the Editor decides the next process. The review process is A-Double-Blind-Review where the identity of the Reviewer is unknown to the Author and conversely the identity of the Author is unknown to the Reviewer.
  • The decision of the Editorial Team is final.
  • The entire review process is carried out in full using the workflow in the OJS.
  • The entire review process typically takes 6 to 8 weeks on average.

3. Article status during the Peer Review Process includes Decline Submission, Resubmit for Review, Revision, and Accept Submission. The meaning is as follows.

  • Decline Submission: the article is completely rejected and there is no chance to resubmit. The article is completely inadequate in both appearance and substance.
  • Resubmit for Review: the article needs major revision and can be resubmitted for review. The article is adequate, but in terms of appearance, surrounding style and systematic requirements, a new version of the article is needed.
  • Revision: in general, the article has been accepted by the Editor but needs to be revised quickly according to the Reviewer's recommendations. There are several parts of the article that need minor revision, especially the substance section.
  • Accept Submission: The article has been accepted and ready to be published.

4. Articles that have passed the review and have been accepted, the Author's personal data will be treated confidentially before publication in accordance with the Privacy Statement and Publication Ethics.
