Plagiarism Policy

J-INDEKS (Jurnal Pengabdian pada Masyarakat Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi Terintegrasi) firmly rejects all acts of plagiarism in any form. J-INDEKS will provide specific actions if receives articles that contain plagiarism. Therefore, as a firm action to reject plagiarism, the following is the policy taken by J-INDEKS regarding rejection of plagiarism.

Definition:

Plagiarism is an act whether intentionally or unintentionally to obtain or attempt to obtain appreciation, praise or value from another party's work by quoting part or all of a work that is recognized as one's own work without providing appropriate and adequate sources.

Policy:

Based on the definition of plagiarism, submitted article must be the author's own original work, have never been published, and are not in the process of awaiting publication elsewhere. Any material taken verbatim from another party's work must be paraphrased and clearly identified so that it differs from the original text using indentation, quotation marks, proper attribution, and the availability of original source information.

All authors are responsible for the content of the articles submitted so that all authors will be subject to the same action if they are suspected of committing plagiarism.

If the author is proven to have submitted an article to J-INDEKS at the same time as another journal, and this is discovered during the review process or after publication, the article will be withdrawn from J-INDEKS.

If the author commits acts of plagiarism, Editorial Team has the right to impose sanctions according to the Editorial Team's policy.

Similarity Index:

J-Indeks use IThenticate to check the similarity index and then Editor decides the possible of plagiarism (Report will be given to the author inside OJS). Following are the results of the similarity check scenario:
1. Similarity Index above 25%: the article will be sent back to the author for improvement.
2. Similarity index less than equal 25%: the article will be accepted or citation improvement may be required.
