Manuscript Type

Jurnal Teknik Kimia dan Lingkungan (JTKL) welcomes original scientific manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in chemical engineering and environmental engineering. The journal accepts manuscripts in the form of research articles, literature reviews, and case reports, provided that they contain original contributions and have not been published or accepted for publication in other scientific journals.

Research Articles: Research articles report original research findings derived from experimental investigations, theoretical studies, process modeling, simulations, or other appropriate research methodologies. These manuscripts should present a clear research objective, a systematic description of the methods employed, a thorough analysis and interpretation of the results, and conclusions supported by scientific evidence. Research articles generally include an abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references. The research should demonstrate scientific relevance and contribute to the development of chemical engineering or environmental engineering.

Literature Reviews: Literature reviews provide a critical and systematic examination of existing scientific publications on a specific topic within the scope of chemical engineering and environmental engineering. These manuscripts synthesize findings from relevant studies, identify research trends and knowledge gaps, and offer insights into current challenges and potential directions for future research. A review article should go beyond summarizing previous publications by presenting a coherent analysis that contributes to a deeper understanding of the subject.

Case Reports: Case reports describe practical applications, technical experiences, or specific cases relevant to chemical engineering and environmental engineering. These manuscripts may address the implementation of industrial processes, environmental management practices, technological applications, or solutions to engineering problems. A case report should provide sufficient technical information, a clear analysis of the case, and relevant conclusions or lessons that may be useful for researchers, engineers, and practitioners.
