Archiving Policy

Jurnal JARTEL is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content. To achieve this objective, the journal implements recognized digital archiving and self-archiving practices in accordance with international standards.

Digital Preservation

Jurnal JARTEL utilizes the PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PLN) as its primary digital preservation mechanism. This system guarantees the long-term security and accessibility of the journal’s content. The journal’s participation in this preservation initiative is recorded in The Keepers Registry, thereby ensuring the permanent availability and integrity of its publications.

Author Rights and Retention

Jurnal JARTEL permits authors to retain and disseminate all versions of their manuscripts, including preprints, accepted manuscripts (postprints), and the published PDF version (Version of Record), as stipulated in the journal’s Deposit Policy and Copyright Statement

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are allowed to store and disseminate all versions of their articles in various repositories and platforms, including:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject-specific repositories
  • Personal or professional websites
  • Other scholarly communication platforms, in accordance with the journal’s licensing terms

The versions permitted for self-archiving include:

  1. Preprint (Submitted Manuscript) – the version prior to peer review.
  2. Accepted Manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript/Postprint) – the version accepted after peer review but before final formatting.
  3. Published Article (Version of Record) – the final, formatted, and published version.

National Archiving

In addition to international preservation mechanisms, Jurnal JARTEL ensures national-level archiving of its publications. The journal’s content is periodically submitted to OneSearch, managed by the National Library of Indonesia (Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia). Furthermore, copies are also deposited with the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) for repository storage, thereby enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and long-term preservation of the journal’s scholarly output.
