Data Sharing & Reproducibility

JARTEL encourages transparency so that published results can be verified, reproduced, and built upon by other researchers and engineers.

Data Availability Statement

Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement before the References, describing where the data supporting the findings can be accessed, for example:

  • "The data supporting the findings of this study are openly available in [repository] at [DOI/URL]."
  • "The data are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."
  • "The data are not publicly available due to privacy or commercial restrictions."

Data, Code, and Hardware Designs

Where possible, authors should deposit datasets, source code, firmware, simulation files, circuit schematics, and PCB designs in recognised repositories such as Zenodo, Figshare, Mendeley Data, GitHub, or institutional repositories, and cite them in the reference list.

Reproducibility

The Method section must describe the hardware specifications, software versions, parameters, datasets, measurement setup, and test procedures in enough detail for the work to be replicated. Reviewers may request access to data or code during peer review.

Sensitive Data

Data containing personal information, images of people, or confidential industrial data must be anonymised or shared only under appropriate restrictions, in line with the Ethical Oversight policy.
